Current symptoms
Contractions are now at about 2-5 times an hour. Some hurt, some don't. Some make my back hurt. Starting to experience some downward pressure, too, so looking forward to seeing what's going on at my next ultrasound.
I bought a new support belt yesterday, have started restocking the freezer with meals, and have passed off a lot of responsibilities on to willing parties. If I need to go to the store, or out some place, we only go there, then come right home instead of marathon-ing it.
That is all.

24 weeks, 4 days
How far along? 24w, 4d (according to doctor's edd)
Total weight gain: 136.5
How big is baby? Supposedly around a foot long and over a pound. I forgot to ask Jenn at my ultrasound what she was measuring.
Maternity clothes: Some of my shirts are getting short already so that stinks. The panel of the maternity jeans sticks out a little bit sometimes. I still only have a few pants (2 jeans and black knit pants) that are maternity, so on the days I stay home, jammies it is! Some of my pajama pants are going to be getting snug soon...not sure what the plan of action will be there. Last pregnancy I just wore cute nightgowns since it was summer.
Stretch marks: I don't think so, yay!!
Sleep: Doing okay as of late... I make sure not to drink before bed so that way I'll only have to get up about 3 times. It takes me a bit of time to fall asleep still (a loooong time some nights) and I can't really fall sleep during the day. I still try to lay down for about an hour when Judah naps though.
Still also having weird dreams.
Movement: Lots :) On Monday, she was head down with a hand and a foot bumping me on top of and to the left of my belly button. I love to be able to know exactly what I'm feeling during the u/s's.
Food cravings: I guess you could say sweets... I've been going for a lot of junk lately that normally I'd pass up. No real reason for it but I can't resist it, either. Jared's been buying 6-packs of Snickers...Ugh. I don't even like Snickers. I had him put them up on the shelf that I can't reach haha
Food aversions: Still have been blessed in this department!
Belly button: It'll shoot your eye out.
Symptoms: Tiredness, aches and pains, contractions. Oh, I also am beginning to have to kind of roll to the side a bit to get out of bed now.
If I sit straight up, either 1, I can't, or 2, have a contraction.
I miss being able to fall asleep on my stomach.
Preterm labor stuff: My cervix changed from 3.4 or 3.5 last month to 3.1. No change with fundal pressure, so that's good. Too much of a change from last appointment, though, so Sheela wants to see me back in two weeks--not wait another month. I have to do less than I've already been doing (yikes...because I've really been being cautious and listening to my body, already), wear my support belt, and take more probiotics. She wants me laying down a lot and suggested I have Jared do our grocery shopping and cook dinner.
We'll see what the next ultrasound shows and have a better plan of action from there. Last pregnancy at 26 weeks I was measuring 2.6. We'll see.
What I'm looking forward to: Getting our tree up. Hopefully tonight!
Jared also started to finish painting the china closet which has turned into months long of a process so I'm so grateful to have the boxes of china closet stuff out of the kitchen and back into it's rightful place. Just the base is here, and we're still missing the doors, but I like the color of the paint and it's already helped with much needed space and organization.
I've been trying to finalllllllllllllly finish a lot of the decor in our house. Over the past 2 months, lots of things have been hung on the walls, curtains hung, been thrown away, finished, and organized. I can look around and see full sections of rooms that are "done" rather than looking around and seeing every single thing that was missing x, y, or z. It really made me crazy.
Not baby related: Judah's doing awesome with his letters, numbers, kindness to others, potty training, and he can even finish sentences in his books when I read them to him. It's so funny how he went from not talking barely at all, to finishing sentences in books in a few short weeks haha.
We brought him to his first Kidz Jam at church this past week. At first, he was unsure of it (it's geared toward k-5) but by the end, he wanted me to sit with him up at the stage with all the other kids. This Friday is Safari Land, so we'll go to that. It's more for his age group. I love to get him out to interact with others and learn.
Weekly joy: Bonding with Judah. He's just been so pleasant and it's really encouraging and makes me so happy. Today, while at the Post Office, he was looking up at me...kind of staring. I smiled at him, he smiled back---hugely with his big brown eyes--then nuzzled his head into my leg.
See you along the journey--

Love my baby :)
I was rocking him yesterday, reading him a book, and he just lifted his head, looked at me, and said "love you" as he snuggled back in. It melted every single little ounce of my being.
Today, he told me he had to go potty while we were at Kidz Jam at church. He had a dry diaper, went in and did his "business", and had a dry diaper when we got home. He's doing so well! I ordered him a Flip trainer pull up today; it should be here next week.
I'm so proud of him--he's such a smart boy. He's doing great naming letters, is having fun counting, and is excited to be learning his colors.
I love my sweet boy and his heart.

Potty training
It's going really well. Yesterday, at the library, when we were walking past the bathroom, he told me he had to go; he went and had a dry diaper once we got home. I'd say he's 100% trained, while naked, but will still go in a diaper if need be. Today we'll be practicing adding pants with no diaper, as well as pulling up and pulling down.
He's the one that really wanted to use the potty all of a sudden so I'm just following his cues. It's uncharted territory for me, obviously, so I'm learning just as much as him. Keeps life interesting :)
