He loves building towns with his blocks and has been doing great using his imagination.
He is enrolled in pre-k and has some best friends there. Since being in school, the typical boy interests have strengthened--he's always fighting bad guys of some sort and talking about super heroes.
He loves digging outside with his tonka machines when it's warm-- all last summer (2014) he worked tirelessly digging a hole along the side of the house (which he called his 'remote control recycling center'). This past summer (2015), we gave him the news that was had to move his digging location to another area of the yard, underneath one of the pine trees. Say 'goodbye' to the remote control recycling center and 'hello' to Judah's army parking lot! Nothing army was ever parked there...and I'm still not really sure he even understands what an army is. But, none the less, it's there and he loves it.
Hes got an impeccable memory.
He's still a very good eater for the most part but despises white potato products (fries, mashed) and he'd still be happy being a vegetarian if we never ate meat again. He said his favorite food is pb&j and he also loves macaroni and cheese :).
He is starting to read and doing really well. He's a confident, strong willed boy and enjoys talking to adults. He is quirky and really funny. He's alway cracking people up with his thoughts and conversation topics.
He's getting so, so tall. He's just about 46" and about 47lbs I'd say.
He still loves everything about trains and has played with his train table for 3 solid years--every single day-- until this past Christmas when Legos took over.
He's doing awesome at his scripture memorization--Cubbies has been great for him.
We struggle with the challenge of "controlling our emotions" sometimes in the form of running away, flapping his arms or flailing on the ground screaming, but for the most part, he is really doing well.
