Tid Bits I've Learned While Being Pregnant

 Take a "before" photo.

If you don't wax, or have never waxed, start now.  That's all I'm sayin'.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Make meals ahead of time and freeze them so when you're too tired or have morning sickness still at 7pm, at least you'll have something to eat (or your husband will if you're too busy eating ginger chews and mashed potatoes :) )

Don't forget to communicate the changes in your mental state so that everyone's on the same page.

Check Craigslist and check it often!

Invest in a good chiropractor and take advantage of the plentiful (and free!) massages from your husband.

Go with the flow and try to be patient with anything and everything.  You're not in control anyway.

Use a midwife.  And find a good match for not only you, but your husband, too.  A midwife will really get to know you and will spend so, so much more time with you than a doctor would.

Don't Google.  It will make you crazy.  ANNNNNND you will waste 4587325,892 hours of time and feel unfulfilled at the end.

Get enough protein.

Drink like a camel.

Get a body pillow.  A regular one is just fine and is less than half the cost a Snoodle (or whatever those pregnancy pillows are called)

Sleep a lot if you need to and don't feel guilty about it.

Being pregnant is not an illness.

You will have good days even when it seems like it's impossible.

The term "Prego" shall be reserved for spaghetti sauce.

Cherish every moment being able to sleep on your stomach and back.

Thank God for the fact that you can be able to experience pregnancy and all of the changes that go along with it.  It's really interesting, you learn a lot about yourself, and it's so exciting!

Dwell on the fact you having a miracle growing inside of you every day.  Really, really think about it.  It's a miracle.

Get a king sized bed.  By the middle of your pregnancy, and all the fancy pillow arrangements, your poor husband will be sleeping like a pencil with his arms straight down at his sides or he'll be falling off the bed.

A little bit of caffeine will not hurt your baby, or you.

Lots of people will tell you "just wait til...." and it's annoying.  Maybe if you know ahead of time it won't be :)

....and for some reason, people try to make you feel like you're "not pregnant enough" to be feeling this, that, or the other way.  That's really annoying.

Love, a lot.  Cherish all and every one of your moments together before you become a 3 unit family.

I know there's more, but that's all for right now I suppose.

See you along the journey--
